📋 Scanning Instructions

🎯 Position the Patient's Face

Center Their Face in the Oval

Position the patient so their face stays inside the on-screen oval guide throughout the scan.

Adjust Distance for Optimal Capture

Move the patient forward or backward until the system shows green and confirms correct distance.

Clear All Facial Obstructions

Remove glasses, hats, jewelry, or hair that might cover the patient's face during scanning.

🔄 Guide Head Movement

Direct Slow Head Rotation

Instruct the patient to slowly turn their head left and right. Watch for automatic captures every 10 degrees.

Ensure Pauses Between Movements

Tell the patient to pause briefly after each head turn so the system can capture clear images.

Maintain Neutral Expression

Remind the patient to keep a calm, relaxed expression without smiling or talking during captures.

Use Manual Capture for Ear Views

When scanning ear areas where face detection fails, keep the patient's head in the oval and click the manual capture button yourself.

💡 Setup Proper Lighting

Create Even Illumination

  • Seat the patient facing a window or bright, even light source
  • Avoid harsh shadows falling across one side of their face
  • Use indoor overhead lighting if it provides uniform distribution
  • Prevent direct sunlight or bright backlighting behind the patient
  • Monitor the system's lighting quality indicator during scanning

✅ The scanning process typically takes 3-5 minutes. The system will guide you through each step with real-time feedback.
